Patti Mullin started designing kitchens in 1984. After a couple of years, she realized how much she loved designing and decorating kitchens and baths and decided it was time to become a licensed professional. In 1988, she began her studies with the National Kitchen & Bath Association. In 1990, she sat for her board certification exams and became a Certified Kitchen Designer. Since her certification, she has gone on to win 13 design awards, and her work appears in numerous national publications.

As a CKD, Patti must maintain her certification by participating in continual "Ongoing Professional Development." Going to seminars and shows has never seemed like work to her because learning about the industry that she loves is always a pleasure.

Although many kitchen showrooms have gone to computer design, Patti still hand draws all her designs and elevations. "I just am not creative with a mouse" is her explanation. Patti says that, for her, drawing is quicker and a far more creative process. She believes that to some extent computer design limits kitchen and bath designers from thinking outside the box. Not one to just hang cabinets on walls, thinking outside of the box is a large part of her design process.

Whether it is a tiny little cottage or an elaborate home, her desire remains the same: to help her clients reach their goals. With over 20 years of experience, she has done work for all types of people with different tastes, different lifestyles, and different budgets. Her kitchens and baths are everywhere from New London, NH, to Soho, NY. "People sometimes think because of my experience and awards, I must be more expensive. What I find interesting is that oftentimes I am less expensive because creative thinking has not only an aesthetic benefit but also a functional and cost consciousness benefit."

One simple rule: Patti always requests that you invite her for a meal in your new kitchen. Of course, she wants you to cook in order to make sure she has helped you to create your functional, beautiful dream kitchen. "One of the best parts of this business is the incredible people I meet. Each one is different, and I get to become a part of a very important aspect of their lives. There is nothing more satisfying than having a client excited and happy about the project. The nicest parts are the housewarmings, luncheons and dinners I am invited to attend!"

At Timeless Kitchens, Patti has worked hard to make sure that she can supply a vast array of products to meet all her clients needs. Her cabinetry goes from a budget conscious product up to a fully custom made product. Her top selling cabinet, Candlelight Cabinets, offers a very extensive line. The array of doors, woods, stains and paints is endless.

Countertop selections include solid surface, granite, soapstone, composites and laminate. Her wood line of countertops offers 12 different species of wood, including cherry and mahogany. Her hardware line, or "cabinet jewelry" as she likes to call it, is diverse and extensive. Sinks, faucets, bathroom accessories - everything you need can be found at Timeless Kitchens.

The showroom is unique; besides showing cabinetry and counters, it offers a wide array of themes and colors. As one dealer said, "I have seen a number of showrooms in my years in the business and I must say yours is exceptional! The atmosphere is homey and completely reduces the pressure on a client."
